Meet Daniel Moya

“I enjoy guiding clients through the migration maze and helping them put their best case forward. It’s satisfying to play a role in Australia’s migration program, which provides us with a richer culture, prosperity and a society with a global outlook.”

Daniel Moya has been providing immigration advice since 2002, commencing in Melbourne working primarily with asylum seekers and refugees. Daniel's practice encompasses all areas of family migration and protection visas, appeals to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (Migration and Refugee Division), Federal Courts, Ministerial Intervention requests and other complex areas of migration and citizenship law.

Daniel has been fortunate to work with exceptional refugee and immigration lawyers in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth and has accumulated a rich understanding of Australia's complex migration laws, policies and procedures.

In 2017 Daniel was admitted as a legal practitioner in the Supreme Court of South Australia and the High Court of Australia. Daniel is able to provide immigration advice and assistance from the initial stages right through to representing you in the Federal Courts.

Daniel established Moya Migration Law to enable him to provide a high-quality service that is capable of responding to each client's particular needs.

Outside of the law, Daniel enjoys lazy days at the beach, latin dancing and going on adventures with his three kids. A perfect day involves all the above plus good coffee and french pastries.

How we work

Achieving your desired migration status is a journey. We can take every step of this journey by your side, or step in when things become challenging.

We begin with a consultation, so we can understand your story and your unique needs. From there we can map out a timeline and a plan for representing you with the immigration department, and ensuring you remain lawful whilst in Australia.

Along the way we identify and lodge any relevant visas and respond to departmental requests and other issues that might come up.
